So we get about halfway through and we are on the front knuckles and I say....hey why are there 2 ball joints on the bottom???
It's a @#$%ing Type-SH suspension!!!
The Knuckle is way different in that the radius rod bolts to an extra ball joint and the lower arm is huge and more offset than the base/4g one.
So I have 2 options
1) Pull the hub off and likely wreck the wheel bearings, buy new wheel bearings and hope 5th gen hubs and 4th gen knuckles use te same bearings.
2) Find some base knuckles...which I already can have for $150 or so and I can part out the calipers. But I can't get it till sunday.
Right now I am pimping 5-lug on the back and 0lug on the front I look soooooooooo dumb lol.
I wouldn't chance it, I'd just get the Bse knuckles.
When all said and done, if you have an extra set of caliper brackets, I would gladly take them off your hands for you, as I ordered new Legend calipers, and like a dumbass forgot they don't come with a bracket, so I need a pair Let me know if we can work something out.. thanks Joel, and good luck hehe.
I've got my Legend calipers, Brembo legend rotors, AEM pads, and base rims all sitting here.. just need to find me some knuckles hehe.
get the base knuckles, there might be something else that might be different, and you don't see it also, just don't chance it, in my experience if you hit one major difference alot of the time you'll be hitting differences all the way through.

They are different how? Thickness? Outer diameter? Inner diameter?
The 5th Gen bearing will work for the 4th Gen knuckles, I know 'cause that's what I used for my 5 lug convesion 3 years ago. The difference between the 4th Gen and 5th Gen bearing is the inside diameter, but the outside's the same. I remember that the 4th Gen hub just slid right in the 5th Gen bearing without pressing it in, because the inside diameter is that significantly bigger. I hope this helped.

So you're saying we can just pull the 5th gen hub off with the inside of the bearing and place it into the 4th gen knuckle with no problems? Don't need a press or anything?

Doesn't that wreck the bearing?
If I understood correctly you'll need to pull the hub hub bearing and put the 5th gen bearing and hub in the 4th gen knuckle. You do need a press to remove the bearing, I don't know if it wrecks it but the helm says to replace it so I think it would be a good idea to replace them while you're at it.

No, what I was saying was, if you try and drop in the 4th Gen hub into the 5th Gen bearings, it will slide right in with no pressing it in because of the inside diameters' significantly larger for the 5th Gens, but the outside diameters' the same. So, press out the 5th Gen hub, buy the 5th Gen bearings, press them in on your 4th Gen knuckles, and by the way, when you press in the hub, support the inside ring of the bearing so you won't press the other half out through the other side. I made that mistake and I had to buy a new bearing again just to be sure.
