This should be in the Audio forum... but I will tell you what I know. I had no problem putting my Sony Xplod 6.5's in. The stock speakers that I took out of my car measured 6.5 so I dont think you should have a problem.

The main problem you will have is speaker DEPTH....in the rear anything over 2" will sit on the trunk springs/bars...measure the depth and buy speakers accordingly...or you will have to modify them/the mounts to make it fit

Yeah, they're 6 1/2 components in the front and 6 1/2 coaxials in the rear; and in both cases depth will be the limiting factor. In the front midbass drivers (the ones in the door), you can hack away at the factory plastic baffle to buy a little space, and/or use a spacer ring to get an inch of space (which is a LOT in this case). Listen to whatever speakers you want to buy first to make sure you like how they sound - for instance in my car, I have Rockford Fanatic X's (from the previous owner), and I really don't like how they sound - not a lot of midbass, and the tweeter is rather shrill and fatiguing with little depth (and as a point of reference, I'm used to hearing MB Quart speaks!).

This is what I've had in for the last three years, and I had no problems at all getting them in....they sound great, too.

the speaker depth for the front is less than 2in. other wise the window track is in the way... i actually ended up with a pair of 5 and 3/4 concept speaks, cause the shop couldnt get any 6.5's to fit... but they gave me a good deal on em...
