Have you done a detailed search on this here? Although you don't get a helluva lot of hp gains, most people would agree that there is a SMALL gain earned from installation of the pullies. If anything, it'll give your car a smoother feel at idle (car is a bit quieter, as well). I'd go for the pullies after you've done all of the other bolt-ons, but that's your call. I think the biggest gains from pullies can be realized by installing a crank pulley, but crank pullies have been known to destroy engines, as aftermarket crank pullies get rid of the harmonic balancer, I believe.

I've had my AEM pullies for about a year now and when I first installed'em I noticed a very small difference but at the time I only had an intake. I dont know if it matters what mods you have prior to the installation. Theres a lil difference in power to your accessories also, like the headlights are a lil dimmer and brighten as you press the accelerator. As far as an aftermarket stereo system, that I dont think is the gr8est idea with the pullies since your using less power on your accessories but thats just an assumption so dont take my word for it.

Dr J dyno tested these and I think he said he got somewhere between 4-6 in hp gains across most of the powerband.

The AC pulley is not changed. The stock AC pulley is clutch design so that when AC is off the pulley is under no load so it spins freely. Only when the AC is on is there a load on that pulley, which will in turn rob horsepower.
