the wider chamber gives you quicker, and better throttle response. This is do to the wider part of the intake, the chamber, holds air there, so when you hit the throttle you get instant power. The original AEM just sucks the air in from the filter when you hit the throttle. This sudden pulse of more air going into the engine, means more power! I want the V2 but I dont think they are making on for the 4g.

I reaaaaally doubt there is a big diff. I think it is just a marketing thing for AEM.
you guys might be surprised, they claim like 9 hp on a si civic! But I guess the only way we will ever find out is if they make them for the 4g and someone dynos it!
a lot of you probably don' t know the actual design on the V2. It's not just a bigger intake tubing. There's actually 2 tubes (a smaller one inside the bigger/outer one). There's been dyno tests, and the V2 kicks the originals ass till 6000 or 6500, then the original still makes more gains. So basically, this would be a great intake for S/Si models that only go up as high as the intake makes more power than the original, and the H22 dudes should stick with the V1.
