aem fuel rail problem

ok, first of all, has anyone ever had any trouble with their aem fuel rail? the banjo bolt that connects the fuel line from the fuel filter to the rail has broken two times now. it is made out of the crappiest material known to man. it's supposed to be torqued to 12 lbs. each time before the bolt broke i wasn't even close to 12 lbs. has anyone had this problem?? i don't know what to do, whether to just send it back and get different rail (suggestions?) or just get a brass fitting and make it work with the aem rail. any suggestions would be very helpful. if you need more info i can try to get a pick up to show the bolt tomorrow. thanks for the help
