AEM cold air intake w/bypass valve - Honda Prelude Forum

I bought a used AEM cold air intake (21-405) w/ bypass valve for 92-96 honda prelude si. I have a 1992 prelude si. I don't have the instructions and I'm having a hard time putting it on. Do I have to cut any holes or make any modifications to make this work. Please help anybody. This is all new to me.

Yes. IIRC, you have cut the pipe in order to install the bypass valve.

You may also need to cut the hole larger where the intake goes down into the fender. I put a rubber hose around the metal so that it doesn't rub up against my intake and scratch it. Here is what it looks like:

Thanks for the help. And thank you for the pic. I got a hold of AEM today and they emailed me some instructions.
