aem cai DIFFERENT ??s

i have a 5g lude and want an aem cai. the 5g aem cai is 3" diameter and has a bracket that attaches to the bracket that holds the electric solenoid from the resonator. the problem is i do not have that bracket anymore PLUS i noticed that the 4g aem cai has it bracket in front of the hole that the filter goes down in. QUESTION IS: ARE THE 4G AND 5G AEM CAI THE SAME FIT BESIDES BRACKETS? please e-mail me pics at joflewbyu2@aol.com

They are interchangeble as far a fit goes, but the 4G AEM CAI has a smaller diameter pipe...

do you think that the 4g 2.75" gives better midrange than the 5g 3" pipe? does the 4g 2.75" lose any top power compared to the 5g 3" pipe?

I think the smaller diameter is for low end and the higher diameter is for top end but thats me just trying to use common sense...
