Timing advance has nothing to do with the A/F ratio; what we're doing is advancing the distributor which makes the spark discharge earlier. In my case, 19 degrees of crankcase revolution BEFORE the piston reaches top dead center. Everyone -- If you really want to tune your engine sometime, you'll need to know that to acess optimum power, all th fuel must be burned by 10 degrees BTDC.
