act clutch in today, questions and comments

This is an ACT HDSS clutch i replaced my burnt stock one with

1st i felt the pedal much diff than before, harder to push than my really burnt out stock clutch and there was a point where it just sprung in rather than my burnt one which just went in kinda the same all the way... i stared the car and went in reverse and stalled. It grabs much harder and the threshold is diff so i gotta get used to it... def grabs unlike my other one and doesn't slip but its harder to drive.... how long do i wait before driving it hard... what can and can't i do with it until its broken in? thanks lmk

500 miles before you rip on it. Nothing less. No speed shifting only old lady driving until.

Nah, you can give it a little gas. Try not to shift above 3k R.P.M. and make the transition as smooth as possible.

I just had my exedy organic clutch installed yesterday with my clutchmasters 8.5lb flywheel. The car is definitely much more responsive and fun to drive. I'm still breaking in the clutch...i havent shifted past 4000 rpms yet... The release point on the exedy clutch is very nice, its almost a stock feeling with pretty decent increase in grabbing. so far im happy with it, but I'll let you know how I really feel once I can pin it.
