just wait till it starts slipping that way you can let us all know exactly how long it lasted.
to test your clutch go 60 mph in 5th gear and push the clutch in and rev it to 6k and drop the clutch and if it grabs then its good and if it struggles or takes awhile, then well ya start investing for a new one.

well the thing is im gonna pull my engine soon to do some other stuff....while its out it would be easy to replace the clutch. i just dont want to wait til the engine is out to inspect the clutch (more down time) i may as well just buy a clutch and be done with it.

i did a lot of autox and some drag with my hd/ss act. along with plenty of daily driving. i only got 30k out of it. guess i drive harder than i thought. but the clutch never slipped. never ever ever! i could tell she was going with the clutch fluid going down down down, and eventually she would get so hot after an hour or so and it would be very difficult to get in or out of gear. in went a new exedy...
g_loc...that sounds like a great way to burn your clutch or whatever is left. please dont do that.

haha, i got that from someone on this board a while ago... meh, i only did it once on my old clutch
but its not like you give it gas when you do it. your supposed to feather the clutch at idle or something and just get some momentum out of it. would that wear it down too much?
man i took a little drive to st louis and my friend was drivin.. he kept thinkin he was shifting with his foot on the gas and it was aggrivating the **** out of me... but it was just revving real high and wouldnt go well.. well after about 8 hours straight on that...on my way back from memphis.. 20 mins from my house! the car slowly stopped going..from 80...to 60...to 40...to 20..to nothing within 10 mintues. it sucked! other than that like a year before all this happened my clutch had been slippin and stuff. now i have clutchmasters..nice stuff
I'm wondering the same things about my RPS Stage 3 (not even installed yet, though)...
