AC cuts in and out - Honda Prelude Forum

My AC will cut in and out . It will be on for like 30 minutes then it will turn off with the button still in but the light will be off. Then it will cut back on like 5 to 10 minutes later. Any ideals

yeah mine doesn't really do that but everytime i want to turn it on i have to tap the right area of the console to make the light go on

its a common problem in our climate control units.........the soldering is pretty crappy...there is a writeup in the 4th gen faq and or ntpog.org site....

i've been meaning to do mine but as long as it stays on when i need it to i don't care...

although its a good gauge if you have a chick in the car and she sees you have to hit your dash to get the ac on.........if she doesn't care then she might be a taker.......if she cares cause she thinks its ghetto.........throw her out hahaha
