hey are the 5th gen ac compressor and the 4ths interchangable? i saw they have different part numbers but sometimes it doesnt matter, anyone tried it? and can you use a jdm ac compressor? i have one but dont know what the differences are and if i can even use it. thanks guys.

if it's a vtec compressor you are replacing....i dont see why not. the pulleys may be different

according to the part numbers, the vtec and non vtec 4th gens have the same compressor which is different than the 5th gens but, if the pulleys are different than that wont make too much of a difference, right? but what about the hoses that connect to the compressor?

hey does any one know if i can use my jdm ac compressor? its 5th gen and mine is 4th plus, its jdm, do they use the same freon? r134 right?
