my mechanic swapped a abs modulator/accumulator/pump it was leaking and had a bad solenoid. got one used off ebay and had installed hes trying to work out the kinks. he says the brake peddle is spongy little to no pressure and the master cylinder reservoir is going down and is leaking out the top of the abs reservoir. is this a bleeding issue any ideas would be helpful. its a 96 si and the parts of a 94 si.

dont know why the mechanic cant figure it out. make sure he has all of the lines/fittings on the abs unit connected. theres a hose that runs to the pump. some kind of high pressure deal and of course the brake lines. check those. fill the abs resevoir. fill the master cylinder resevoir and blead the system completely. if youve got a spongy pedal and the master cylinder is good then its definitely a bleed. good luck. your mechanic should pay you lol
