ABS light question.

Hey guys ok this was wierd. I got into my car this morning and it was pouring rain (<--- not sure if that has anything to do with it) and I start up the car. All of a sudden I notice that the ABS light has been on ever since I started the car. So I tap the brakes to see if there is a problem with them and they feel fine. But then I realized that you need to brake pretty hard in order for the ABS to kick in. So comming to a stop light I slammed on my brakes and the light shut off. It felt like everything was working fine though. It has never done this before, should I be worried or was it just a fluke??

I think if it's working fine, it's just probably a cold start. My ABS light was on and didn't work so I just pulled the light, it gets annoying to look at...being all orange. If it works now, it should be fine.
