ABS Light Needs to go Off!

Is there anyway to turn the ABS light off without fixing anything? A fuse? A wire? Anything? Does anyone know how I might be able to do this?

Yes, the light stays on instead of just going off after I start the car indicating that there might be a problem. I'm not going to be able to have it looked at for a while so in the mean time how can I get the light to go out.... Pulling the bulb, well yes, but can you tell me how to get to it?

pull the gauge cluster all you need is a stubby phillips screwdriver (for those screws under the top dash lip) then take out the bulb. id recommend checking the code before you do this tho, that way youd have a lead to what may be the cause of the problem... good luck

Well, my brake fluid is fine. How would I go about disconnecting the ABS module?

Oh man...you have touched upon one of the classic 4th/5th gen problems...welcome to our world. I'm probably going to pull my bulb, and complete ABS system (since it never really worked anyway), this weekend.

What are you going to do about the brake lines? You'll have no brake pressure without the ABS unit.

OK, you still haven't pulled the code to find out what exactly is causing the problem, could be a faulty wheel sensor, or something relatively cheap to fix. Pulling the bulb is ignoring the problem which could lead to even larger problems. If you have a spare paperclip you can find out what's wrong by yourself.

Just put a card over the light like I did while I saved up money to replace my stupid broken knock sensor.
