abs 4ws

is it possible to keep the 4ws with out the abs because now i did 5 lug conversion and remove the abs sensor and i get 4ws code 33 and it's because the 4ws see vss input more than 30kmh and dont see de rear wheel spining so if i cut de vss signal to the 4ws ecu will it work??

If you cut the vss signal to the 4ws control unit it will not work because it determines which way and how much to turn the wheels based on your speed and the angle of your steering. Idk about the ABS thing you could just put the sensor back on there and let it operate and just remove your ABS control unit and see if that works.

You have to have the ABS control unit and rear wheel sensors for the 4ws to work. You can leave the ABS fuse out in the under hood fuse box but the 2 rear sensor fuses must be there.

I was waiting for you to get on and shed some light on it lol. Ive read through the 4ws section on the helms a few times and I still dont fully understand it all.

A little off topic but, when you are pulling 4ws codes do you just pull them with the blue jumper plug same as the CELs? Cause when I do that the light doesnt blink it either turns off or stays solid what do you think that might be?

Right, same as the CEL.

Not sure on why it doesn't blink, does the CEL stay on?

Im really thread jacking here but whatever. I got the code finally it came up as a code 62. All it says is motor in the manual so does that mean I need a new motor or just mess with something on it?

You'll need the service manual, it will tell you step by step how to electronically align the 4ws system.

I have owned my prelude for 2.5 years now and never a problem. My ABS light came on the other day and after riding for a minute the 4WS light came on I found the connector jumped it but not blinking light it just stays on any idea what it could be. Any info would help.

I bought the realy that goes in the engine bay fuse box installed it and still the same problem.

Are you sure you're jumping it correctly? Or successfully jumping it?

Make sure you're getting contact with the points in the plug..

To help, we'll need the code it's erroring out.
