About OutlawLude...

Hey whatsup guys. I just thought I would let you guys know something about Outlawlude. I remember awhile back when he did his trunk mod, he was offering to send a kit out for $10. Well I paypal'd him the money on March 19th and he hasnt sent it yet...

Quote:
I am not trying to jerk you around, I have been busy up until today working 13-15 hour shifts, I'm sorry. I will send the trunk kit to you by Friday. I am sorry for the delay. Give me until Friday and I will give you a guaranteed yes or no on the bumper. Again, I am sorry if you thought I was dicking you around.

Matt
That was sent on April 9th.....we both live in central florida so I dont think shipping takes that long....

I just wanted others to know about this, I thought he was trusted among other members but I guess not.

Im disappointed that a member of the Prelude board that has dealed with other peeple would leave me hangin like that.....especially after saying that he wasn't

I got the trunk mod from him. Sent him the money and had it three days later! I know he is busy and he wouldn't try to cheat you! I had him clear my tails and I haven't had any problems. Just in my opinion... it sucks that you haven't received your **** but there is probably a good explanation.

Yeah, he has always come through for board members before, so I dont see why he would decide to start screwing people now (besides, screwing people for $10 is hardly a worthwhile risk). Have you talked to him recently? do you have any package tracking info? Your life can get flipped upside down in a matter of hours. . .maybe he had something come up (?)

*edit*. . .his last post was 14 days ago, so it's not like he's just ignoring you . .maybe he's out of town or something. Busting ass for exams?

why do you feel the need to post about this on the forum? is your intent to degrade his image? as far as i know him, he is a very respectable trader but he does have a busy schedule. if you are that insecure about yourself, mabye you should seek professional advice. take care of your business through email and PM.

hehe well that was obviously his intention, but if exactly what he said was true than i think everyone has a right to now that outlawlude has taken forever with his trunk mod kit...

He has had my tail lights/and $$ since March 7th. He has got in touch with me several times with delays. I understand, but I am getting impatient too. I really want to take my Altezzas off you know. I really don't think he is trying to screw us, but he is lagging.

Its alrite, I knew some people would come to his defense, he has been on this board longet than I have, which is one of the reasons why I thougtt it was ok to deal with him. And the reason why I felt the need to post on this forum is, well because he doesn't seem to reply to emails or PM........

And also, how does that bring up me being insecure about myself????

Dude, I talk to Outlawlude a while ago and I know he's on a very uptight schedule. He's been dealing with so much work that once he gets home, he collaspe straight on his bed... wake up, and back to work. He really wants to help out the fellow PO.com, but you guys must respect his life also... give him some time.... it's not the end of the world for a Trunk mod or some clear lights.

I figured he must be pretty busy, I'm not calling him dishonest or anything, I just want my lights. I'm sure he is a great person and would never try to screw a fellow Luder, we just need to trust him and hopefully he will get the parts to us pretty soon. You take a risk with stuff like this on the net and it's easy to doubt someone. I'm sure our stuff will be here soon.

Well im not saying he ripped me off, but he hasnt replied to my emails or PMs, and still no trunk mod. Sure its not the end of the world, I just wanted to post this, so maybe it'll get his attention, and to see other po members opinions/info about him. Seems that he has been busy lately and delayed other members stuff....but I haven't gotten a reply from him in 3 weeks. I mean he could at least keep me updated. And if he says he's going to ship out on Friday the 9th, and doesnt, he could have emailed me and let me know instead of not contacting me. I mean what am I supposed to think? I respect him, but it seems like he hasnt shown the same for me. I sent him my money in faith, and I dont even get updated. Its only $10 too.... I just hope our stuff gets here soon too.

Illusion- Why would he need to seek professional help? Because he thought this may be the best way to get outlawdude's attention? It doesn't matter the amount of money he gave him, everybody has at least 1 minute to call or email a person to inform them on what they said they could do. I don't see you b*tching anyone else out for posting about another PO.com member. You made yourself look like an a$$, not Lude4thgen. Maybe somebody else needs a little professional help.

Lude4thGen, my post had nothing to do with how 'newb' you are on this forum. that makes no differnece and shouldnt be used as an excuse for you, nor a justification for me to jump on you.

preludechic, i really dont care what you think. how would this be the best way to get outlawlude's attention? that, my friend, would be best done through email, or PM (which presents you with a popup box as soon as you visit PO.com).

um, i never said anything about the money situation. i am not condoning outlawlude's practices if thats what you are assuming. however, i have been on numerous trading forums and id like to think of myself as an experienced online trader. given the timeframe, its way too early to be questioning the legitimacy of a trader. i dont see other PO members claiming that they were ripped off by another after only 3 weeks of non-contact or i probably would be b*tching at them just the same. or maybe i dont come here often enough.

Obviously, as was clearly said in the beginning, he posted this to make all other PO.com aware of the predicament. No matter how TIGHT your schedule is, when you have PAYING customers, or have money from the sale of items, there are VERY few excuses that are justifiable in NOT providing.

Ive heard tons of good things about Outlaw, but with the good always comes bad in some way or another.

Im not saying Outlaw is a thief in anyway, this is the first I've ever heard anything negative about him. Im not defending nor slandering him.

The post was meant to inform other luders that he has either become too busy to take on the tasks, or that something has happened where he cant provide.

So why are you getting so defensive?

Relax.. Breathe..

im well aware of what the original post was meant to do. maybe i am getting a bit defensive on his behalf.. or maybe im just used to the bigger reputable boards where a post like this would win you the scorn and contempt from just about every other member there. i was wrong in expecting the same etiquette here i guess.

(1) Explain to me how I am using that as an excuse?

(2) I meant that he has been on the PO board longer than me, and has dealt with more people, therefore, has built a reputation for himself. So I come and post this topic to inform other po members, and since Im saying something about Outlawlude thats less than flattering, its like Im the bad guy because he has reputation among other po members, so I expected someone to come to his defense. All I told was the truth. Why are you "flaming" me? Saying statements like im insecure and need professional help? You don't know me personally so how can you say that? I mean Im the guy thats havent received the kit yet, not like he sent me the kit and I never sent him the money, so why is it like Im the bad guy? All Im doing is giving a heads up to other PO members about my experience.

I already tried. Doesnt respond to either. I waited and waited thats why I posted here to let others know about that....

I also heard alot of goodthings about Outlawlude, like him clearing out other peoples tail lights.

Bottomline is:

He offered a product, I payed, yet to receive product, and loss of communications.

I'll post back if hear anything from him.

If you would have read the whole thread, you would have seen that he has already done that. Nothing against you, but it's already there.
