? about dc headers

hey guys i went to the muffler shop today and they told me that my dc headers had a leak in it, the middle part and the lower part has a leak..he says 100 to fix and replace da middle piping..also i was wondering will i lose power due to the leak or should i jus leave it alone.

sounds like he's ripping you off. the leak is most likely on a weld which can be easily fixed and should not cost you $100. how old are they?

Take a picture of what he is talking about. I do not see how it would cost 100 to fix a little leak.

i jus look at a pic of a dc headers...i dun think its da headers its my stock pipe..the 1 where its next to da cati converter..he says i will lose power..is this true?

The exhaust leak will be annoying, and will slightly effect your power. Any muffler shop should be able to just spot weld the area for close to nothing. You could get all new piping for $100.
