96 Prelude SI H23A1 to H23a3 swap

Ok so i have a 96 honda prelude si with about 102k miles on the car... Looks to me like the engine seized up after losing oil pressure and doesn't wanna turn over anymore. So since its an automatic i have decided i am going to stick with the H23 motor that's in it. I have a jdm engine (h23a3) ordered and on its way. From talkin to a few people i have heard since my motor is a 96 its an obd2 and has a crank angle sensor on the oil pan. Apparently the jdm h23 does not have this option and has an internal coil in the distributor to regulate spark or something to that matter. Anyways from what i'm being told i need to swap an oil pump from a 96 prelude si in order for this to be a direct swap... so basically i'm just curious if this sounds right to anyone?! or if anyone has done this swap.. I just want my lude running i miss it! And in doing this is there anything else i should look at or need to swap in order to make this a functional motor?! comments are greatly appreciated!

swap the entire intake manifold/injectors, distributor, timing sensors and lower timing gear from your old engine. pick up new oil pump if the jdm motor doesn't have the crank angle sensor mounting spots. Basically your just using the block and head from your new motor. don't forget new seals water pump and timing belt + and timing tensioner.

you basically just use the new long block. everything else if i remember correctly from when i did thid i used from my old motor. the distributors are different. there was something back by thr manifold that i used from the jdm motor but i forget exactly what it was cuz it was a year ago i did this. but yea just use everything from your old motor.
