96 h22a question

ok i can get a 1996 h22a on hondamotorsonline.com (right?) according to ca laws its got to be your year or older BUT arent 96+ ludes obd2? i dont really know the meaning of this except for the fact that everyone seems to convert over to obd-1, why?

96 and newer are obd2, people change to obd 1 because it's more mod-friendly. It's just an extra pain in the a$$ sensor that kinda tells the computer that somethings done to your car and the computer adjusts it back to where there's little or no power gain.

Actually, OBDII trys to keep the car running like it came from the factory. When you mod the engine, the ecu see it as a problem and trys to correct it.
But the ned result is the same, not as mod friendly.

um, that's what i said by the computer adjusts it back. it's all good though.
