94 VTEC auto to manual tranny swap!?!?!

I need some real help. I have a 94 prelude S. the previous owner did a motor swap to a VTEC - not quite sure on motor year - but he did not swap to a VTEC tranny at that time. I bought the Prelude with the extra motor matching VTEC tranny, flywheel, clutch, and ECU in a crate full of other random parts. My Honda mechanic said not to plug in the ECU/VTEC plug (near the left of the valve cover looking from the front) because it would not be a good thing with the 4sp AT. What my problem is: DOES anybody make an AT to MT swap kit? My Prelude is already set up for it, i.e. it has the clutch cable hole in the firewall and it has the female screw holes for the clutch reservoir already. Is it going to be a pain in the ass??? I think it will be worth it. I'm not quite sure of all the parts that I need to accomplish this daunting task. I've been looking in salvage yards for an early 90's MT accord let alone a prelude, but I have just moved to Wyoming and I don't think anybody's even heard of a Honda out here, and they just seem to be crushed when they hit the junk yards. PLEASE HELP my prelude!!!! Email: libabbasneon@yahoo.com

Moved.

Short answer, yes...it's a pita. Honestly at these prices, find a decent manual prelude 4th gen anything and swap in the motor.

definitely a PITA. i just got done swapping a manual transmission into a previous automatic prelude and found out after that the underdash wiring harness needs to be swapped because of the connections on the clutch pedal for the neutral safety switch. and depending on the year of both off them you might be dealing with a switch from obd1 to obd2. as for the other parts you need the clutch pedal, master cylinder and a few other things. as far as i know there is a kit for it but i can be mistaken. i just wanted to through that in that the harnesses are different and its a pain in the a$$.

I did this swap to my 95 u will need
1. manual pedals from accord94-97 or 4th gen prelude. other models might work but I know these will
2. clutch reservoir
3. clutch cables for hydo line
4. shifter assembly

as far as the wiring goes keep the automatic shifter under the center console and put it in N this will allow the car to be started and will allow the car to not bog when in gear. as far as the neutral safety switch that is bypassed by keeping the auto shifter still connected.

I might be forgetting something but this is the basics.. it really is not as hard as it might seem. I don't sign in on here am mostly on NTPOG.org I'm Jmay over there too, my car is right out side so if you have any q/a I can go look directly at my car. It was like 3 years ago when I did this though so my memory is a little hazy right off hand.
