I am having issues with my 94 prelude si the idle revs up and down at times after it has been running a while also at other times it will essentialy draw the battery dead. I can almost tell when it is happening due to my stereo cutting off and on. I have had one mechanic say it was the idle increase it and it seemed to run alright for a bit but now it is acting up again. I am inexperienced but love the car any help would be appreciated.
hey man, had a similar problem not long ago and it turned out to be the ECU. I tried everything, cleaned the IACV, trottle body, CAT, sparkplugs, EGR valve, changed the Oxygen sensor.......the i unplugged the battery for like 20 minutes to reset the ECU and problem solved. Just give it a try, it might do the trick. it did it for me........
