To start off i have been searching for the last couple days with no luck to my issue.
The whole problem started when i failed my emission test. I had an Accord that had the EGR ports clogged and found that this was the same issue i had. When applying vacume to the EGR valve the engine did not react at all. I researched this and found that i had the IM with welds over the EGR ports. I didn't feel comfertable with drilling into the IM with it on the car so I pulled the IM off. I had to order the gasket's from Honda so while i waited i cleaned the IM the best i could with Carb and Choke cleaner. I also replaced the O2 sensor with a universal sensor at the same time.
I installed the IM back on the car with a new knock sensor (found it broke when i took off the IM

). When i started the car at first it ran fine. I bleed the cooling system let it warm up and took it for a drive. It ran great and the EGR valve was working like it should.
The next morning i went to work. On the way i noticed it started to miss when i came to a stop sign (Sounded like i had a cam when i was at Idle). I have a 60 mile trip to work so i kept an eye on it the whole way. The only time that i noticed it miss was when i came to a stop. I got the car home that night and looked at it the next day. I started searching the web again. It seemed that my issue ligned up with a IM gasket. I wanted to make sure that i put everything back correctly so to make sure i took the IM back off. Everything looked good so i re-assembeled everything and when it started up again it missed for a second then smoothed out. Let it warm up all the way and it started missing again.
At this point i have done the following with no help;
-> New Plugs
-> New Wires, Cap & Rotor
-> Checked TPS (ok)
-> Checked MAP (ok)
-> Compression Checked (ok)
-> Swapped #1 and # 3 Injectors
-> Ran Seafoam through the Vacume
I have narrowed this down to the following. When i pull the #1 wire there is no change in how it runs. Pull any of the other 3 wires off and it almost dies. Pulled the plug out on this cylinder and found that it was soaked in Gas. I didn't have a OHM meter on me so i swapped 2 of the injectors to see if the problem followed itself. It didn't so i then did a compression test and all the cylinders are about the same.
I have searched on this issue with people saying that they have seen the O2 Sensor do this, EGR, EGR ports, Vacume lead at the Manifold. But from what i have tried i cant seem to find anything wrong.
I appologize for the long book but i wanted to give a baseline on the issue.
If anyone has any suggestions let me know.
Thanks
