'94 Knocking Problem

Alright, I have noticed some knocking coming out of my engine compartment but it always stopped after a while I thought it was a lifter at first, but then I finally found the problem...

*Out lined it red*
The Bottom screw that holds on this peice of metal is missing, which allows it to bounce against the exhaust manifold cover(making a really annoying clanging). I am wondering if it is critical piece of metal or not.

Should I match the screw and bolt it back down, or take out the other screw and scrap it?

Thanks

PS- Sorry I couldn't figure out how to shrink the picture(new to didgital cameras)

bolt it back up. If I remember it is a heat shield to protect your other parts. It would be best if you bolted it back up. I would take the top bolt out and match thread off of it. Chances are they are the same.

As a second warning, dont put your hand on the heat shield
