Once the car warms up it has major acceleration problems. every mech. i talk to wants $89.99 to tell me whats wrong with it. Once warm, acceleration is restricted to the point where it feels like your driving a semi-truck for the first few seconds of acceleration. (everytime i accelerate)
the only other thing i can thing of is the cracks in the exhaust pipe, but their is so much loss of power that it has to be something else.
Dont want to waste the money on exhaust repair yet if i dont have to.

Has 180,000 miles

new: timing belt, balence belt, water pump, oil pump, plugs and wires.

also had valve adjustment done to standerd; intake .11mm; exhaust .19mm
(tired at .8mm and .11mm first)<---bad idea

once it warms up, when u step on the gas pedal does ur car lag or bog back and forth?

It lags. I took it to a exhaust shop today, they said they dont know whats wrong with it and the exhaust cracks is ONLY causing noise.
Its also been like this for atleast 5-6 months.
P.S. its an automatic

does it have check enging light?

yes, but my OEM-1 plug on the car is busted. i looked in the junk yard but they only got the 2.2 prelude and mine the 2.3 so i cant use the plug

if u can get the check engine light to give u a code and if the code is code 1 than u need new fuel injectors.

clean ur fuel injectors. go to gas station, wal mart, autozone, kragen, etc..
find a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and poor it in ur gas tank. see if that helps if not than u probably need new one.
