94-96 Fog Switch Alternative

After alot of searching, i have found out that it is very difficult to find an OEM fog switch for 94-96 consoles...can anyone help me out in how i can modify the harness to use a generic switch?? I also read a post in which u can run the fogs so that they go on with the accessory lights?? As of right now, all i have are the fogs...does anyone have an extra relay or switch they wanna sell?? Thanks guys.

Justin modded his cruise control switch to be the fog switch, since he's not using cruise control that much

there are two wires used for the switch that you can wire together for a generic switch or you can just twist them together and they come on with the low beams.

There will be a black wire for ground and a Red/yellow wire for constant. Double check them with a voltmeter to be sure they are the correct wires because there are a couple or red wires behind there. Any generic 4 prong relay will work but you can get the Honda relay for 25-30 bucks depending on how well you talk to the parts guy. I paid 26 for mine so I didn't have to wire anything. Honda still makes the relays.

Yeah I ended up just getting a generic switch and relay from my old set of foggies. I used to have a missile switch for the bling factor but got rid of it

I think it would be cool to have the S2K push start button for a fog switch. Shouldn't be hard to wire up either

There are plenty of aftermarket push buttons that look the same and do the same thing without the START emblem in it.

Yeah, and I think I just figured out that they won't "snap" into the center console either...

as Mike pointed out, the wiring in the 5G switch is different but it is backlit so it adds an added bonus to the fogs.

I am sure now that the switch was bad and that is why I couldn't get it to work.

I have a radio shack relay if you want it. I don't have the honda relay but you can get them out of almost any honda car. They are that generic.
