I have a '93 si prelude. And my question is there a way if any to just take the vtec header off another prelude and attach it too mine without going through an engine swap to upgrade me to a vtec.
Thanks Jesse

dood just letting you know, your gonna get flamed for typing VTECH.... its VTEC. and no VTEC headers can't fit Si head.
dude do you mean VTEC HEAD SWAP? or VTEC HEADERS? haha
well i'm gonna do that swap, i'll let you know what happens..
basically you get the h22a head, and the accessories, and the h22a ecu, and you install them, i'm sure theres more you gotta do but this is just an over view on what's gotta be done.. peace<-----well i edited the "s" out for all you idiots who were jumping on my case for making one spelling mistake..

this thread has reverted to cheap perverted replies due to the lack of sense your last post seemed to make, so join in and post a fisher price my first funny
how did my post lack of sense? if you read it carefully i said, h22a heads , ecu, heads meaning: cam shaft, piston and etc.. not just the head block, didnt i mention accessories? geez, and also didnt i mention, i'm sure theres more things you gotta do, that makes perfect sense, if it didnt make sense to you, please stay in school

umm, the "head" of an engine contains all of which you listed.. You said heads.. theres not more then one.
look here do u know what a head is ? there is only ONE head on a 4th gen prelude weather it is a S SI or vtec. When you say HEADS the that is plural meaning more than one so maybe someone else needs to stay in school
Header = where you exhaust gases flow out through
Head = Where the camshafts, valves, spark plugs, and fuel injectors are located. The pistons are in the engine block

as you can see when i spelled VTEC HEAD SWAP, i spelled it right, and as you can see when i said h22a heads, i made a mistake and added a "s" on head.. my bad people dayem!!..
LOL! dude i know what a head is, and i know what it includes, like i said i made a mistake by putting a "S" on the word head damn.. chill out..
if i didnt know what a head is i wouldnt have said, pistons, camshafts.. geez get a life.. my bad for spelling it wrong.. what a bunch of ***s.. jumping up on a person for adding a "s" by mistake.. get a life.......
