ok so im driving to a stop sign and down shift than all of a sudden my car like pops and a lot of smoke came out. it looks like it came from the vtec solenoid i put a full bottle of coolant in it and let it cool and still does it. my temp gauge also goes to H with coolant in it. im not driving on it because its just gonna **** up my motor. what do you think that could cause this. it was running fine the othe day ago. just oil last week please help?

huh? So you were driving your car, you hear a pop and then add more coolant in? Did you see coolant leaking out from somewhere or what?

So that means you were already running WAY low on coolant before the incident happened then right? You didn't see any leak marks anywhere or notice anything in the days prior? You've prob been running with your radiator completely dry then. When you say 1 bottle of coolant, how much was this bottle? A liter? How much did you put in? You're supposed to fill the rad ALL the way to the neck. If you were nearly empty, the system will ususally hold close to 2 gallons of coolant. That's probably why you are running your car all the way to the red, you don't have any coolant in there.

So you don't have enough or let alone any coolant running through your system, I'm surprised you didn't see smoke coming out from a whole bunch of places.
