93 Lude with a H224A VTEC swap problem

I have a 93 lude with a H224A dropped in.
Headers
Exaust
Cold Air intake

After reaching normal operating temperature it will randomly kick a code for the O2 sensor. I have replaced the sensor, but that just does not sound right to me.
I can restart the car and clear the code and the light goes off.

My main gripe is that when the light comes on the car runs poorly. It will not hold a steady acceleration only a steady idle.

Um what else. . .

It happens most of the time in high 3rd and up (maybe 4k RPM +) Like when I'm getting on the highway.

Any ideas?

H22A4 is OBD2, so it is looking for the secondary O2 sensor (after the cat).

Did you change over to OBD1?
