93 h22a1 loose power

i got a problem on my 93 vtec the problem started with a test drive after
puttin my cai after drivin a while i was on stop light i was taking off then
the car felt real heavy then on my third the power kick back in and it felt
normal then Ill down shift to 4 gear and the car will go but then it feels realy heavy and then goes back to normal when this happens you push on the pedal and it wont go any faster then you feel a little shake and it goes ok
for another 2 min.
so i stated to check for codes it gave 6 and 12 one is the coolant temp sensor and the other is the egr so i clean the egr valve not the ports mine
is little harder the car ran better but the feeling still there i took the vacuum
hose from the egr valve it had no suction i rev my engine it warm up
i felt a little suction not enough to open the valve i dont know how much suction should be but when i cleaned my valve i put suction with my mouth
it felt like it could take more suction then that to open i dont know if this is my problem why im feeling this on my car but im tired of thinking what can it be for the code 6 the thermostat was loose so i fix it

fuel system seems fine sparks is fine

any ideas i really need help

I like to think that my English is very good... But I still pretty much understood everything this guy said.

Try cleaning out your EGR a little bit more. If you disconnect the vacuum line going to the EGR, you are not supposed to feel much suction. The vacuum system for the EGR is controlled via the car's ECU. Under the correct load, the ECU will open that vacuum line to the EGR.

But, since you said that this pretty much started happening after you installed your CAI, check the vacuum lines that go to/from your intake hose. See if you forgot to connect any of those hoses. Also, there is a port on the intake manifold that should be blocked off after putting in a CAI.

Also check to see if your cooling system is full (meaning no air bubbles). If your thermostat was loose (I'm assuming you meant the housing), you were bound to loose coolant from your system.

By the way, h22allmotor, where are you from?

You aren't Mexican. Don't insult Mexicans. Also, this isn't a club. It's a discussion forum.

Program adjustments?
When I put my AEM V2 in, all I did was remove my resonator, the butterfly valve/vacuum control box and plugged the vacuum hose at the intake manifold that goes to it.
That's all.
Oh, there was also another vacuum hose that went from the intake pipe to the intake manifold. That was also hooked up on the AEM.
