I have a chance to get a 92 Si for $2000 but it's an automatic. I took a look at it for my friend because she was gonna buy it but she decided not to(she's short and says there's too many blind spots). The paint is faded which i not a big deal to me, but there is a little bit of oil leaking on the exhaust manifold right by the o2 sensor bung. it's not a lot though(there's NOT a puddle after the car sits for a while). it shifts a little harsh but has 131k so i don't expect it to be super smooth. i've been saving up to buy a project car but was originally thinking about a dsm or 240. decisions, decisions...any advice?
i got my 92 auto si for 2000 also...i would get it and do as much to it as you can...i would love to have another car to start another project for and 2000 is a good price for most project cars...unless you get a junkyard car for 500 of course
I noticed you mentioned a DSM as a project you were considering.. I'm putting mine on eBay tonight. It's a 90 GS-T with mods, I'm looking to get around $1500. If you want to buy it before it goes on eBay let me know ASAP!

yeah the reason i want a 240 is because it's RWD. i was checking out miatas, and i almost picked up an 87 bmw 325i with a blown engine for super cheap, but my friend's dad sold it to the junkyard before she told him that i wanted it. oh well. i don't think the guy has sold the prelude yet so i might get it if he still has it.
