92 prelude timing belt

OK, i need help! i'm in the middle of changing the timing belt on a newly purchased 92 honda prelude h23 5 speed motor. What i need to know is....once i get the timing belt on, in order to test the belt, which way do i turn the crank shaft?? and also. do i need to align the pistons evenly? is there any other specifics i may need to know about changing the timing belt? I would appreciate any information anyone can give. thank you
