This is a great thread to read! Keep it up! I appreciate the photo's and time spent.

On the water pipe with the heater connector, why dont you just cap it off like 71dsp ? Cheaper and easier ...

haha , nice

Here are a few pics i took last night. If anyone wants a specific pic hit me up.

Kinda Sad huh?

Pounded at the Purp Car a bit. I think we knocked a good 1/4 of the dent out. Lots more to do, but i have been busy with the red car so the purple car is second for now. As soon as The red lude is all cleaned up and ready for sale, then i can start on the purple car. Then the fun begins.

that is one project you got there!!!

I would consider steam cleaning that engine before you sell, the underhood looks a bit icky.

What colour are you considering for the blue one? I never did much care for that colour...

Yea, im going to most like swap out the valve cover and IM with the spair i have, both are clean and look brand new. If not, ill be doing a bit of painting. I want to steam clean, where can i get the engine bay steam cleaned?

The blue car will be EGP. Possibly go with CF hood with the center left black. Most likely some dark rims with polished lip, but right now im not sure. The blue car will be completely stripped and repainted. It will look new. She will be looking good when she hits the road. But im not sure if ill ever make it street legal again. haha

when you say EGP did you mean EBP, or is EGP the green color of the 5th gen?

where? Gee, I donno. You have some options. Get some engine brite and head down to your local car wash for a quick rince.

Check for detail shops, most can do that, too.

My favourite cleaning method is simple green. Works great... Then get some Armor-All Engine Clean and go to town. It will shine up everything.

Are you going Electron Blue? or that dark green on the P5s? I always liked that dark green. with the tan interior, sweet....

Its a Green Grey. Sometimes it looks grey sometimes it looks green. I have always wanted a green car and always wanted a grey car. SO this is the best of both worlds. I also had a 5th gen with that color.

Well i have no problem cleaning and pressure washing, but steam cleaning works best.
