I have no power to fuel pump so I read in different post to look at the main relay. but where is it and what color?? could it be my distributor? is there any way to check if the dizzy is working without purchasing another one? please help this is my only car??

It's located under the dash on the drivers side above the steering column next to the brake switch. It's grey and brown.

Check to see if you're getting spark.

im goint to check for spark right now, it acts like it want to start though but ill be right back

the battery is almost dead it turned fast at first then slowed up till all the juice was gone but the whole time no spark. i had the spark plug out of the head in the wire and I held it against the headers for ground but no spark...

i got the main relay too so should i open it to look for burned connections?

all the soldering points look good. if the main relay was bad would there be any power going to the distributor?? what about the possibility of bad timing?
