92 Prelude help!

hey guys im new here, ive had my 92 H23, 5 speed for 2 months now and besides having to replace a clutch and pretty much a new front end from an accident (totally not my fault!) its been the best car ive had. so with that being said:

im looking to replace all the speakers- best thoughts and procedures how to do this..without losing a few fingers

and i also bought at upper tower strut bar- best way to install this as well?, i know how..but theres alot of crap covering the strut tower where the bolts are?

thanks!

Look in the car entertainment / audio forum or search for previous posts in the 4th gen forum.

Installing the strut bar:

Um what bolts? They are just ontop of the strut tower, there is nothing on top of them.

speakers are easy. Like any other car. Just make sure you take all the screws out of the door panel before you try to yank it off. Also make sure you get shallow mounts for the rear cuz theres a bar that goes across that theyll hit. If you order from Crutchfield the speakers come with new harnesses which makes life a little easier. They sell the harnesses at big stores like Circuit City and Best Buy in the install shops too. Ive got Kenwoods in mine and theyre ok. Better then stock but not the greatest. Cheap tho. I paid like $120 for all 4. Shallow mount speakers always suck for bass output so dont expect much from them.
