My friend's S/C 450+hp to the crank Acura TL is only a high 12's/ low 13's. If all you have is bolt-ons with some spray there is no way you're running 10's. Not trying to be a dick, but I just don't believe unless you have pics of running 10's or a dyno chart if anything.
Your friend's TL doesn't have a PEN15 in it. Read the thread. It's possible.

damn.. nice motor bay.... not sure if it's the rare JDM PEN-15 it coudl be the
EURO PEN-15a or maybe the PEN-15b1... you can kinda tell by the vac. lines in the 2nd pic... not sure though.. you might have to take it to a lift and see it fron the bottom to look at the block... looks great though...where do you have the NOS bottle?

If your engine sort of looks like this, then you probably don't have the sexy PEN-15 engine. They typically have multiple carbon fiber parts for supreme efficiency.

As an administrator, I've never seen a Prelude's engine bay so nicely done with so much power hidden under the hood. I'd love to have a scan of the dyno just for my own records, this type of work is priceless to me.

GREAT job preludenos21.

That Prelude could eat MR. CLIFFORD's C6 for breakfast. Such a POS GM car. If only everyone knew how to mod a Prelude to run 13s!!!

DAMN! This thread is impressive.

All you haters should GTFO

You really should upgrade to SEARCH parts. If you're putting down 310hp with crappy knockoffs... man, you'll easily gain 50 - 70hp

ITs so rare, I am so f'n jealous of the OP... if that really is the elusive PEN15 engine.

Hey OP have you checked under the engine block for the PEN15 stamp? I cant help much, since i dont know where exactly to look for your PEN15 marks, and information online is even rarer. Dyno this PEN15 beast, and post the numbers!

Holy crap a PEN15!!! Whats it like? I've never seen one in person, 310whp and 10sec 1/4 mile passes and you're not even using SEARCH parts yet? I think you need a wing so your rear tires dont lift...

Yea.. but he has NOS on his PEN15? Im not sure but I will assume that its a wet application of NOS. Which makes sense... man this guy is f'n good... I wouldnt want a dry application touching my PEN15! Am I right?

For Realz y'all, I am so f'n in shock that I might be looking at a legit PEN15 with 310HP.... OP... stop messing with us.. did you confirm if its a PEN15 Engine?

damn thats right... I forgot about the carbon fiber inserts on some parts....

I bet it went down like this... someone saw the carbon fiber inserts on the engine a long time ago on this lude and jacked them from his PEN15, like during a routine oil change or something...but they didnt know they were dealing with a mighty PEN15....

Hell some assclown at a honda dealership tried replacing my engine block with one that had a chipped up ****ty black paint. I was so pissed, I refused to leave/pay until my original block was found.

LOL... if you bought this beast used.. go call up that noob and tell him THANKS for the PEN15!!!

Its like someone stealing a mugen oil cap... and not all the mugen goodness. LOL!

I want this lude on the annual calendar!!!!

I hope prelude_nos_21 replies soon. I'm eager to find out more details on his setup after looking at his engine bay photos. I've been hesitant to do mods, but this definitely makes me wanna do it. Clean engine bay and you can't even tell that it's a sleeper.

Bro. Don't waste your money on anything OTHER than an all motor build with a K20 headswap, AWD conversion, ITB's, Sleeves, blueprint/balance engine, high compression pistons, direct port nitrous injection, and a stand alone fuel management system. I promise, it's really easy to do, and totally worth every penny in parts and labor. Take pics!

omfg.. who is this guy? Bro have you even read this thread before you brain dropped this terrible advice in here. He might have a PEN15 ENGINE!
K20 would actually reduce the HP not enhance after all that modification to the PEN15. I dont think anything can mount the PEN15... exept maybe the Euro version that was mentioned earlier.

EDIT: I stand corrected. its a f'n beast that can take mods like a mofo!

Shows what you know about the gen4 lude!
Some of his ideas are good, but geez, did you even look at the engine bay pics?

We are waiting for him to confirm if he has the elusive PEN15! Whats up with this guy! DID YOU LOOK ATLEAST ON YOUR ECU FOR PEN15?

PEN15 engine? No Sh!t... I retract my previous statement. Leave that PEN15 head on the motor, it flows like a beast, or should I say Angry Dragon from the factory.
