Nice looking car. I notice you got the demon drop going with the coilovers. I know, I used to have a 95 H23A. I put down more power than some supercharged cars
Know what I'm saying? None of this "from a roll" bullsh!t. Those ***hags need that **** to spool up because they don't have NOS to juice up their turbos, dumbasses.
I think you are forgetting my roots. I am a bastard child from a prelude. I know where and when to play and this ain't it.
Damn skippy.
I came in here not expecting too much, but was just blown away by just the outward appearance of his car. Everything looks top-notch. The power he's putting down makes it even better.
omfg! I think he has that really rare JDM engine.... its called a ... "PEN15"it like produces 350 HP if you tweek the ECU, and lean out the gas. I dunno... go write that down and ask your local import tuner shop if your cars a member of the PEN15 Club!
whatever essay I just watched the new Fast and Furious so I know what I'm talking about.

SEARCH is really the only company that comes even remotely close to APC in terms of outright performance.
Well, the marketing department needs to get their crap together too, because I don't care HOW well the stuff performs if I can't put their logo on my back windshield.
I think you guys are all a bunch of haters. If he is running 10s and putting down 310 hp, he doesn't need a SEARCH intake. K@N intake is good for 65 hp easily
Just make sure you don't blow the welds on the intake.
As long as you shut it down when the danger to manifold warning comes up, its no problem.
I hear Search Intake Systems is developing a sweet intake manifold for a dual injection nos set up. Supposed to make another 50 hp over current nos set ups. Anybody else heard about this?

OP, I had a 1999 Prelude with a similar setup to what you're running. If you want to buy a good setup I can link you to ALL the parts you need and even make you a mini-portfolio with all the parts you'll need for the build.
I can get you running about as much power as you want. PM me

Man my friend had PEN15 spec motor in his garage and sold it, he didn't even know! The block is stamped on the back of the motor, it's hard to see. I think it's for stealth. I've only seen a few for sale ever! Do you think he really has a PEN15?!
Dude, 310 hp??? Holy sh1t! I can't even get that after tuning my SEARCH i/h/e combo AND running a huge 75 wet shot... Insight PLZ!!!
I wonder if he has SEARCH cams and rods too... i bet that is the difference... man... great power... do you have any videos of you hanging with 10sec cars? i would love to see some... i miss my old prelude... the audi never felt has good as the prelude.... the prelude was so much fast and could handle better too... sigh... maybe i'll be able to get another prelude one day
^ I had SEARCH do a special re-grind on my cams and the difference was INSANE. My idle was a little more rough but the dyno results made it worthwhile.
prelude nos 21: shoot me a PM and I can get you set with everything you'll need for a build.
I call BS. I do not believe you're running 10's with 310 hp (and I'm hoping that 310 is to the wheels). Theres a prelude with 366 whp and does not reach 10's. My friend's S/C 450+hp to the crank Acura TL is only a high 12's/ low 13's. If all you have is bolt-ons with some spray there is no way you're running 10's. Not trying to be a dick, but I just don't believe unless you have pics of running 10's or a dyno chart if anything.

whoa whoa... clam down dibbie downer... geez... 14 post and you think you run the place and know everything... his car could be light weight...
Not only that, but aerodynamics plays a huge factor in how you run at the track. The last car I saw that ran 10's, I walked up to the driver and he pointed out this special wax he uses (which they actually sell at Autozone! ) that makes the car "super slippery" through all the wind resistance! I wouldn't believe it until I got to put my wallet on his hood and the damn thing slid right off!
Also, I saw Popular Mechanics did a huge article on the aerodynamics and automobiles, they claim that's how drag racers literally drop seconds off of the 1/4 mile, amazing! If this guy wants a Prelude that goes into the 9's, he'd be wise to use this wax and the other drivers would never see what's coming!
