there was no vtec in 92 (in the states)
si should have the 160hp (and about 160 ft/lb) H23 motor.
my 92si is for sale too 78,000 miles on it.
damn 78k

The S model has a single overhead with 135hp and about the same torque ..
Get the SI for sure.. the H23 is awesome!
You can tell by the engine too, it says vtec on it if it is vtec..
If you look to the left of the exhaust manifold heat shield you can see "H23A1" stamped on the engine block .. thats your 160hp baby.
get a Si definally...there is a a lot of goodies that make that motor a lot faster...you wont be let down...if you plan to do a swap, get the S and put a JDM H22 in it

why would you get a s model? it is completly pointless. the go through the process of getting a new car and all the fee's involved is not worth losing abs and shaving 50lbs off the cars weight and be stuck with a f22 that you can't sell for anything.

cheaper, but not by much. do the S models have power windows, cruise control, etc?

Cmon, the S is not that bad.
It has power windows, cruise control, the only thing missing is ABS. The wiring is not that bad for the swap. Read the faqs, its only a few wires. Just make sure you get the JDM harness and a Helms. I love my S, and i will love it better after i finish the swap. Ill be on day 5 tommorow. It takes longer when your working by yourself and have no experience.
