I remembered someone mentioning how the face plate for the 94-96 climate controls looked just like the 5th gens...

picture here:


the top one being the 5th gen (which supposedly is identical to the 94-96 4th gens)

and the bottom being a 4th gen (92-93)



nehoo the dimensions were slightly off though:

4g on the left 5g on the right

i never got a chance to take a picture of the entire climate control unit, but the dimensions of that unit was also slightly off.

so what i'm asking/wondering is:
are the 94-96 climate control's dimensions the same as the 5th gen dimensions, or are they the same as the 4th gen 92-93 dimensions? because IF the 94-96 climates can fit into the 5th gens without modifications.. then that means us 5th gens can use the JDM climate controls that they have on ebay for 4th gens all the time..

(i saw an auction for a 5th gen jdm climate ONCE, and it went for 400 bucks i think?)

the other difference i would think of would be the amber lighting on the 5g but whatever.. i would rather have the green cuz its more easily converted to blue

as far as dimensions, all 92-96 climate controls are the same/identical.
