5th Generation interior in a 4G car?

I just bought a 92 in great condition. The only problem is that the black leather seats and the console aren't great. I was looking around on craigslist and I found some good 5g seats for 250. I'm guessing I can talk him down bc I don't think they will really be in high demand. But, will they bolt in correctly?

Thanks.

Unfortunately most OEM seat swaps are not possible without some serious fabrication. Consider that any adaptor would not be sound enough to withstand an accident, and the only solution being a good weld.

That being said I once purchased RSX leathers thinking they would be perfect for my 4th gen. Too bad those seats have on board airbags and utilize welds instead of bolts. The only bolt on solutions you have are S2000 and del sol seats. The seats themselves are manufactured by Recaro for Honda and are based on the same design. The seat pan can be dissassembled and swapped. There's a photo tutorial on Prelude UK. I do not know for sure that the del sol seats would be compatible in a Prelude but I am certain the S2000 seats are a bolt on affair in the del sol.

Maybe you score oem del sol leathers from the junkyard or maybe a salvage yard lists perforated all blacks from a low mileage S2K with local pickup only. I lucked out; thats how I got my s2k seats. Keep yur eyes open and sign up for other forums if you really want that bargain.

And no they are not in yet but ask me again in 2 weeks.

Thanks. I've take a few trips to some junkyards but most of them in my area don't buy Hondas. So, I'll just start looking more abroad.

Thanks for the help.
