Followed basic guide from NTPOG. Finally got around to doing this......a few things I came to realize:

1) If you have a 94-96, the stock rear headliner WILL NOT FIT. I'm ordering a 92-93 rear headliner and 3rd brake light to cover the motor.

2) Instead of bending the inner lip, I cut the front about halfway and cut the rear past the spot welds, then you can split the rear lip and the trim fits WAY better!:thumbup: No need to trim the sides.

3) Set aside a solid day, if you have a cut-off wheel it makes it go by faster, take your time.

4) Looks unbelievably better than the metal one! Highly recommended.

I have no 5th gen motor. Ive seen other people do it by just replacing the glass not the motor.
Thats what i was gonna do.

I have the 5th gen sunroof and complete assembly. Could you please post some pics of the 3rd brake light and the rear headliner? Trying to follow your directions, I have a 92 lude and it doesn't seem to fit right like yours. Towards the rear the 5th gen sunroof sits past the 3rd brake light and i'm not able to put the rear headliner on. Any help please thanks
