5th gen SH exhaust fit a 4th gen vtec??

Anyone know if this works? I heard that the 5th gen exhaust will fit a 4th gen (93 vtec).. its a lil bit longer so it'll stick out the back but i think the rest matches.. and i've heard that the SH exhaust is shorter than base on 5th gens.. so i figured it might match pretty good. I'm looking to put a greddy evo on my 4th gen vtec.. thanks for any help.

Ok I'm replying to my own post for anyone thats wants more info on the swap. Well the main problem is that the hangers for the muffler piece do not match so they will have to either move or make a hanger for the one(probably what i'll do so i dont' mess up the shiny stainless steel). The rest goes pretty well. There is a prob matching the exhaust to the header.. there is about 3" too short...even with the 2" adapter that comes with the exhaust.. but I have a 4th gen and 5th gen header.. i notice that the 5th gen header is shorter and it works perfect b/c its short by the same amount as the cat-converter is.. so u can either install the stock cat(probably be a bad thing cause of having 2 cat-converters..since catback system replaces the cat.) But i've already removed the cat with a "test pipe" so i can install that.. Or u could use the 4th gen header and make a small pipe with flanges on it to make up the difference. So it can be done with a few mods. I'll get pics of stuff when i finish putting it on. When I'm done i'll have 5th gen: intake header and exhaust. SO i guess i could be caled a 4.5Gen hehe. By the way this is all fo ra 4th gen vtec. .i don't knwo if the S or Si are different in header lengths and such.

Well I have the 4th gen VTEC so the engine is the same. The top half of the header matches exactly. The bottom half are different lengths.. so at the time I have top have 5th gen and bottom half 4th gen but when I swap over the 5th gen exhaust then I'm gonna put the 5th gen bottom on. If u had a 4th gen exhaust and found a 5th ge nheader.. u could still use it but u'd have to make a custom pipe to make up the 6" difference.
