I was wondering if you were getting the visor for looks only or for function. Here is a bit of info I learned during the purchase of my Prelude in '92:
When I purchased my '92 Si new I had asked the dealer about a moonroof visor for my car since my mother had purchased a new '92 Accord and got one for her car.
The sales manager told me the moonroof visor wasn't necessary for the Prelude because the way our moonroof extends back over the roof at a slight upward angle when opening, it acts as a spoiler directing most of the air flow over the cockpit so there is no wind buffeting. The Accord's moonroof retracts straight back into the roof leaving just the exposed opening in the roof (with no external "spoiler" as ours does), so there is a lot of wind buffeting- reduced by the optional moonroof visor.
Traveling around later on I did see a few other 4th gen. Preludes with the visors from other dealerships. The guys I spoke to at my dealership basically said that those owners were just talked into buying a useless part for their cars, since it is well-known the visor isn't necessary for the 4th gen. I was surprised they talked me out of buying the part in my case, but I was glad they were honest about it. (Maybe my family buying almost 15 Hondas over the years helped)
I can also tell you from experience when washing my mother's car at the time that it is a royal pain the butt to clean the inner part of that piece and it cut my hands a number of times since the edges are pretty sharp.
Hope this info is helpful.
