5th Gen GREDDY EVO installed today (PICS)

I bought it from MUGENPOWEREDLUDE today and then cleaned it up and had it installed within about 2 hours. Sounds good looks good, just needed serious modification. Basically there was a lot of amputating the poor thing.

Here are the pics...

so the only thing they used was the muffler????
geez, if I knew it needed that much modification I would of dropped the price some more
oh well, its a good price regardless...I guess

hope you enjoy it
what size piping did they use?
thats one hell of a bend right before the muffler

and you really cant see those things only me and you know about

Actually there is nothing there anymore. I went to the hardware shop, asked the guy what I could use to clean it and he said fine cut wool. I bought it and gave it a try and all the overspray came right off. Its shiny again like it should be.

The pipping is all 2.5 inchs, like it should be. Thanks again Anthony!

looks good, for once I might say the prelude looks pretty nice with out a spoiler, but that's a different topic. Also, my friend, like me, you MUST remove the 80's pinstripe. I plan to get mine off in a few weeks when I perform my post-winter car cleansing ritual.

what do you mean, it's a painted-on pin stripe?

if it was a factory applied stripe, it's just like a long, irritating sticker which you can remove after heating it up (heat gun, even a hair dryer will work) Since your car is red, remove a small piece (and the same on the side just to even it up) first and check to see that the paint color isn't too different from the rest of the car. Mine may be, but my car is also white, but even if it is noticeable, I'm gonna go over the car, and especially the line where the pin stripe is with paint cleaner before i polish/wax

sweet, thanks for the pics Matt. and thanks for the compliment too.

The fact that it sticks out so much has been bugging me like crazy. I cant decide if it looks stupid like that, hopefully it doesnt... but if I dont get over it soon I may have to do something about it like going back to the shop and having them shorten the pipe connecting to the muffler.

Yeah I'm trying to find shorter tips, but I need good quality tips, and I'm having trouble finding any any. I personally think the single tip looks better than mine does sticking out like that, but yeah, it wouldnt hurt to have it pushed in a bit.
