5th gen foglight switch

Does anybody know if a 5th gen USDM foglight switch will work on the 4th gen ludes? Finding a JDM switch seems to be hard (I don't know if the 5th gen switches are even available anymore) but if they are, it may be easier than trying to find a JDM fog light switch.

I'm sure it would, but you'd have to do your own wiring of the switch because the stock harness probably wouldn't hook up to the switch... I think it fits in one of the slots by the cruise control, so you'd have to get rid of one (dimmer switch most likely).

5th gen JDM switch works perfectly. Lots of 5th genners who got JDM fogs have the switch still, so you can get it from them. I'm in the process of putting together a write up on the JDM 5th gen switch.

I don't think so. The USDM 5th gen fog switch looks like the 94+ switch size, and the JDM fits in one of the slots by the cruise control.

Here's a picture. USDM on left, JDM on right:

calm down, there's a difference between the two switches, one has a light, one doesn't, yes? I'm sure as a last resort I'll either use a 5th gen one or just use the one that is already wired into my car.

The JDM switch has an LED, the switch is our cruise switch, but instead of saying cruise, it has a little picture of the fog. You were asking for the one on the right, which is the 5th gen JDM switch, and I told you where you could find it.

EDIT: To clarify, the JDM 5th gen switch will fit in any of the three spots that currently house the cruise, roof, and dimmer switches.

so the left one is a USDM 5th gen switch? Either way though, neither of those will fit in the 4G center console, will they? I don't realy want to take any of my 3 buttons/switches out of the panel left of the steering wheel, and I was hoping to utilize one of the four open slots just fore of the arm rest.
