5th gen base header fit on a 4th gen

someone is selling a dc header from a base 5th gen lude would it fit on my 4th gen vtec lude? thanx

No. It will not fit because the A-pipe length is different. You would have to have that pipe modified to fit. (I can't remember if it needs to be shortened or lengthened...)

It's probably not worth that trouble for a DC Sports header...

Yeah the top half fits fine but the bottom half won't.. The base model 5th gen header is about 6" too short. I'm not sure about the SH.. i think there is a 2" diff but i'm not sure if thats true and in which way(longer or shorter).
What u could do(u didn't hear this from me) is make a short pipe with flanges and bolt up. I have my cat removed and have this "test pipe" installed U could just make one thats longer than the stock cat to make up the diff.. But by the time u go thru the trouble of all this u could probably just get a dc header somewhere else thats gonna fit.
