bringing it back from the dead.
i got mine from import auto salvage as well. i will not tell you all how much i paid. plus it was a **** load of money to ship them all the way to hawaii as well. enough about all that though.
i am finally getting ready to install mine. and i notice that one of my assemblies is missing a piece or i got an extra piece with the other 3. the piece i am talking about is this one. its the u shape piece up top. where your shock/spring goes through the middle of it. i am assuming i can just use my 4th gens ones as well. although i was curious if everyone else recieved that u piece as well.
umm...still havn't fixed my abs sensor...but when i look at it...the end of the sensor where it bolts up to the rotor...DOESN'T..have the same bolt pattern...does it matter how it's on there...does the exact position matter for ABS to work?

thanks.
The "U" piece you described is the Upper Control Arm. And yes, you can use your stock upper control arm from your 4th gen.
ohh that's what you're talking about. I avoided that whole problem in general by using 5th gen axles. This way, there's no problems with washers, or grinding, and everything is secure.
