Mine are looking ragged, the boots are starting to crack. I like the look of the 5Gen's a lot better (round pipe instead of stamped steel). They probably have the same length between mounts, but do they use compatible connections at each end as well? I'm mainly concerned about the bushing mount at the inboard end.
