Very nice You think that changing the wheel bearing/hub assembly wouldn't work? If the outer side and thickness of the bearing is the same on both then you should be able to swap them... Also did you use your 4th gen drive shaft? Did they extend a bit further outside of the hub assembly?

I would probabally have to source rear hubs from a 5th gen 4WS from the UK, Japan or AUS.
You shouldn't need any special parts since the only different in the rear is the subframe and the 4WS has no lower arm B, it's the 4WS arm that's attached there.
How long have you had this conversion Prelude_2_NV??? I've had mine since Dec 99. My car's a 92 S. I'm in the process of getting it painted right now. I'll post some pics after it's painted. Here's a list of all the parts I used to make the conversion.
-5th Gen front bearings, hubs and rotors
-5th Gen rear spindles, rotors and hubs (comes w/ bearings)
-4th Gen front VTEC calipers (you'll need this if you're 4th Gen's non-VTEC or do the NSX front caliper conversion)
-VTEC front brake pads (duh) and regular brake pads for the rear
You'll need access to a press to press out the fron't bearings, everything else is a snap. Good luck to all who wants to attempt this.

Looks like you are the first one to ever do this mod dude. I've had mine on since the April 03. You were ahead of the game, much props to you!

Right, this is what I'm thinking too, but I've got a couple questions:
1. Do you just need the hub, or the whole spindle ass'y?
2. Using the 5th gen knuckles, where would you mount the factory swaybar?
3. Who's going to guinea pig this?
If you only swap out the hub/knuckle, then it souldn't be too much of a problem. If you're replacing the spindle, then I wonder if the 5th gen spindle will have a place for the 4ws arm to attach, instead of lower control arm B. Also, the 4th gen sway bolts to the knuckle, but not on 5th gens. If you replace the knuckle with the 5th gen one, you lose your swaybar...unless you can use the 5th gen lower control arms and mount it that way.
You say we have to bleed the brakes....but if we already have the VTEC model and are keeping the calipers I don't think I have to right? since i'm not disconnecting anything...?

Yes I did. No noticable difference when the knuckle assembly was bolted in. Only visual difference is that the wheels seem to stick in more.
