4WS throwing codes!

My 4ws is throwing codes 70,71, which are temporary driving conditions that dont make sense. 71 says that the rear wheels are blocked when they aren't...could this be a messed up sensor or something else? Any help would be great!

Could be a failing rear wheel position sensor... Do the rear wheels steer in the morning before it throws the code?

yeah it works perfect with no 4WS light in the morning, but when i start it up again it gives me code 71. Would it be worth it to replace it myself or should i have the stealership work on it?

Might be worth while from them to check it out. I can almost bet that your average shop mechanic has no idea how the 4WS works.
